Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GridCraft Labs (“we”, “our”, “us”) at gridcraftlabs.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

GridCraft Labs provides AI-powered coaching tools for iRacing sim racers, including an AI chat assistant (Slick), telemetry analysis, iRacing stats tracking, and a Trophy Case. Features vary by subscription tier (Free, Pro, Enthusiast).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GridCraft Labs. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@gridcraftlabs.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid subscriptions (Pro, Enthusiast) are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You may cancel at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Free tier users are subject to daily usage limits as described on the Pricing page.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
• Use automated tools to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Upload malicious files or content designed to harm our systems.
• Use the AI chat to generate harmful, hateful, or illegal content.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of telemetry files, iRacing data, and other content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process and display that content to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

7. AI-generated content

Responses from Slick (our AI coach) are generated by Anthropic's Claude models. AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate. They are for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional coaching advice. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI output.

8. Intellectual property

All GridCraft Labs branding, UI design, code, and original content are the property of GridCraft Labs. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission. “iRacing” is a trademark of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations — GridCraft Labs is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by iRacing.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate. Use the service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GridCraft Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for claims that qualify for small claims court.
